2.1 Visits to the Opening of the Singapore Arts Festivals
I have visited witnessed the opening of the Singapore Art Festival, and I shall be talking more about it. I shall only compare the opening of the Art Festival of Singapore with that of Hongkong, and other similar and different traits they have in their marketing strategies and event managements and planning. Singapore Art festival 2009, their opening was held this year, May 15, at the Singapore's Marina Barrage.
The day started with a variety of performance, many different performers have their specific areas to set up their props and performed on their assigned areas. But in my opinion, there were little performance to go around to sustain me for the whole day till the main theme of the Helios II arrived, the only way I could spend the rest of the time was walking around the Barrage museum to and exploring around the Barrage unique landscape and architectures entertained myself for the rest of the time.
Although there were few performance, but nevertheless there still activities going that were going on, by mime actors, jugglers, portrait artist, balloon shapers, drummers and a few street actors acting and basking.
